Product details
Organic dextrose is a water-soluble sweetener that, in addition to contributing to flavor and texture, can increase the browning effects of the Maillard Reaction in baked goods. It also has some preservative qualities to enhance shelf life. Organic dextrose can be used to slightly lower the freezing point of ice cream.

Application
Be used as a replacement for sugar, starch, and fat in commercial beverages, cakes, candies, dessert mixes, breakfast cereals, gelatins, frozen desserts, puddings, and salad dressings. Polydextrose is frequently used as an ingredient in low-carb, sugar-free and diabetic cooking recipes. It's also used as a humectant, stabiliser and thickening agent.
